Alzheimer’s Society Causeway have planned dementia information sessions. The talk titled “An Overview of Dementia and Understanding Unusual Behaviours” will provide people with information and support about dementia. The same session is being delivered in four locations within the Coleraine area.

Alzheimer’s Society Causeway have planned dementia information sessions. The talk titled “An Overview of Dementia and Understanding Unusual Behaviours” will provide people with information and support about dementia. The same session is being delivered in four locations within the Coleraine area.

An Overview of Dementia and Understanding Unusual Behaviours

The sessions are being delivered by myself.

The sessions will look at:

  • the types of dementia
  • the symptoms of dementia and how it affects the person
  • unusual behaviours – the reasons for the behaviour and how to support someone.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have and also request a one to one support visit with myself, if needed.

The sessions are free.

The sessions are open to anyone who would like to learn more about dementia.
