Currently Policing with the Community Branch, of the Police Service of Northern Ireland are working with five advocates to improve services for victims of hate crime and to tackle the under reporting of such crimes/ incidents.
The advocates have been tasked with the role of contacting (where consent has been given) the victims of hate crime. This function is being supported and co-ordinated in conjunction with Victim Support NI.
The advocates can also be of invaluable assistance in helping address sensitive issues/ needs, concerning victims of hate crime and are available to be contacted by the telephone or email contacts below.
