NI Assembly All-Party Group (APG) on Suicide Prevention took place on 12th December 2017 chaired by Órlaithí Flynn MLA

The APG hosted presentations from Amanda McFadden, Assistant Director Adult Mental Health Services Western Health and Social Care Trust – adopting the Zero Suicide mind-set, a local Trust perspective

Followed by Jane Boland – Suicide Prevention Clinical Lead – Mersey Care NHS Trust – which has adopted Zero Suicide approach since 2015 – learning and progress to date

Jane Boland also gave an overview of the 20 minute online Suicide Prevention training her team and collaborators have co-designed, launched on 16th November, as part of the new UK Zero Suicide Alliance
