The Rainbow Project would like to invite you to our annual World AIDS Day conference on Monday 2nd December, 12.00 pm – 4.00 pm at the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre, Limavady supported by the Western Health and Social Care Trust.
World AIDS Day takes place each year on 1st December and is an opportunity for politicians, communities and organisations to unite together in the fight against HIV and in solidarity with those who have been affected by HIV.
This year’s event is aptly titled ‘World AIDS Day: More than just a day’ which will explore how professionals working with those affected by HIV can support them through each stage of their journey. The theme of the conference will focus on how we, as service providers, can work to decrease stigma, isolation and mental health disparities of those affected by HIV.
The conference will run throughout the afternoon and you will have the opportunity to network with other attendees, engage with service providers and learn how to further support clients who may be living with or affected by HIV.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served upon arrival and lunch will be provided. Registration is essential for attendance at the event. Please RSVP to James Copeland, Sexual Health Development Officer, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 028 90319030 by Wednesday 27th November. If you have any dietary requirements or communication/access needs please let us know so that we can accommodate you comfortably.
