Craigavon Banbridge Volunteer Centre – DfC Covid19 Small Grants Funding Applications

Good news -The Department for Communities have released funding to support the volunteers working in the volunteer led community groups delivering against Covid-19.

In our Council area Craigavon & Banbridge Volunteer Bureau will be delivering the scheme in partnership with Armagh Banbridge Craigavon Council.

Grants of up to £500 will be available to cover volunteer costs. (Subject to number of applications)

PPE for Volunteers (paid by volunteers individually & accompanied with receipt) Travel Costs for Volunteers

Applications are open to those organisations engaging in supporting the community through the pandemic. Examples of what that support might look like includes:

Fundraising for the local foodbank Meals on wheels
Making up and delivering Food parcels Good morning calls

Befriending

Shopping Online support
Prescription Banking/post office lifts Community interaction
