Department of Health Consultation on the Future Planning Model of the Integrated Care System NI

The Department of Health are seeking views on the development of a new Integrated Care System (ICS) model in NI, whereby local providers and communities would be empowered to come together to plan, manage and deliver care for their local population based on a population health approach, with regional and specialised services planned, managed and delivered at a regional level.

If you would be interested in providing your views on the draft framework, further details are available on the Department’s website, including:

  • A consultation document setting out the background to the draft framework and details on how to respond to the consultation;
  • A copy of the Draft Framework document;
  • A copy of the consultation response document (including detail on how responses can be completed online or returned via hardcopy/email).

You can access this information via: Future Planning Model – Targeted Stakeholder Consultation | Department of Health (health-ni.gov.uk)

The deadline for response to the consultation is 17 September 2021
