Don’t lose your right to vote in the European Parliamentary Election on May 23, 2019!
The UK government has made it clear it intends to leave the EU before the date of European Parliament elections. However, if the UK is still in the EU on Thursday, May 23, then polls will take place on that day in Northern Ireland.
Citizens of member States of the European Union are only qualified to vote at European Parliamentary Elections if the Electoral Office for Northern Ireland receives a completed EC6 registration form before the close of registration on Tuesday 7 May 2019.
This form will be sent out to all EU citizens listed on the electoral register or can be downloaded here:
If you wish to vote in the European election make sure you are a) registered to vote (if you have not already registered, you can register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote) and b) have completed and returned the EC6 voter registration form to the Electoral Office by May 7th.
