ESOL Call for funding applications 2021/22 under the Northern Ireland Refugee Resettlement Scheme (NIRRS) coming soon

Please be informed that it is the intention of The Department for the Economy (DfE) to issue the official ‘ESOL Call for funding applications 2021/22’ under the Northern Ireland Refugee Resettlement Scheme (NIRRS) in the coming weeks. This funding process will be broadly similar to last year’s call.

Details will follow in due course.

If any 20-21 Funding awarded organisations still have claims and invoices for submission to DfE, please ensure the costs related to the last academic year are all claimed before the 15th July. This will speed up the process of releasing the upcoming ESOL Call for funding applications 2021/22 and ensure organisations are promptly reimbursed for the eligible costs incurred.

Finally, a reminder to all organisations awarded with funding last year and FE Colleges.  If you haven’t submitted your return towards the latest request for the Home Office evaluation and monitoring & case studies information yet, please do so before the end of this week as the ESOL NI End of Year report 20-21 needs to be compiled and submitted very soon.
