At NWMF we believe in the power of social connections and we have developed lots of different opportunities for people and communities to engage with each other.
Our Refugee contact and social connection residential is one great opportunity for you to meet, connect and make friendships with refugees in Northern Ireland and a chance to build social and cultural bridges
Our intention is to creates a space for natural social connections to take place between refugees and members of the host community and,
Enhance a cross-cultural understanding as well as promote Intercultural Dialogue in support of refugees welcome in Northern Ireland.

What to expect;
A relaxed weekend to get to know refugees and the circumstances that leads to them fleeing their countries
Group social/ team building activities
This is a free event and it is open to Adults and young people (16+) from Minority Ethnic Communities, Refugees, Asylum Seekers, and members of the host community living in DCSDC area, (PUL and CNR).
