Zachary Geddis Break the Silence Trust
Zachary Geddis Break the Silence Trust are a charity based in Coleraine set up to provide services for those in the local community who are experiencing mental health issues, raise awareness of mental health within Northern Ireland and decrease the stigma around suicide. We provide immediate mental health services across the Causeway Coast and Glens with an average of 150 clients per week being supported through counselling, mentoring and therapy groups.
Services provided are varied and tailored to the individual’s needs, including counselling from age 8 upwards, cognitive behaviour therapy, psychotherapy, music and expressive art therapy, lego therapy, men’s support hub, self-care and mindfulness and youth mentoring.
Tips on managing family occasions after parental separation
For separated parents special family occasions may be difficult or unsettling and result in conflict, especially if it falls on a weekend when the other parent is due to have the children. Here are some helpful suggestions from Family Mediation NI to help former couples, who will always be parents, to manage future family occasions by agreeing a parenting plan to cover these special days in the calendar.

The Community Networks in the Northern Locality are working in partnership with Public Health Agency to deliver this Community Development Model to support the implementation of the Project Life Suicide Strategy for NI.
The call for proposals will close on Wednesday 8th May at 12noon.
