Little Amal’s NI Tour

Join us between 16-19 May for free creative celebrations as Little Amal, a 12 foot puppet of a 10 year old Syrian refugee child makes a big journey to Belfast. She has become a global symbol of human rights, especially those of refugees.

Since July 2021, Amal has travelled to 160 towns and cities in 15 countries and been welcomed by two million people on the street and by tens of millions online. 440 events unique to each community that she visits have been created for her by thousands of artists and civil society and faith leaders.

Amal’s journey is a celebration of migration and cultural diversity that tells the story of the contributions made by refugees and immigrants. It represents the refugee story as one of potential, success, respect, hospitality and kindness.

Will you help us welcome her?
