LORAG’s Creating Cohesive Community Project – Trauma Informed Support Programme

The Trauma Informed Support Programme is accepting referrals for Asylum Seekers and Refugees aged 18 and over who have a level of at least intermediate English (please note there are no interpreters included in this programme). This programme is led locally by LORAG’s Creating Cohesive Community Project managed by Corrymela and the Starling Collective.

Women’s group – 10 group-based wellbeing sessions, (including group therapy, art, yoga, and Zumba).

Men’s group – 10 group based wellbeing sessions, (including group therapy, yoga, and physical exercise).

During these group sessions some individuals who are deemed to need further support will received 6 1-1 talking therapy sessions from our trained counsellors. Limited spaces available. Bus tickets will be provided for the duration of the programme.

The programme will finalise in two integration events/trips before Winter. First sessions: exact date TBC @
