QUB research seeking the experiences of education of migrant and ethnic minority children and their parents.
The research will help inform policy to better support the children’s educational journeys and reduce inequality.
QUB want to ask children and families about their views and experiences of education in Northern Ireland. We want to explore topics including how people choose the school they go to, what they learn, what they like about school and what they think could be better. We will be talking to 60 families across Northern Ireland, as well as other adults who work in education and for community organisations. You and your parent(s)/carer(s) have been invited to take part in an interview. These interviews will take place at a time and place that suits you and will be recorded, if you agree. The interviews can be done in English or in your home language, with an interpreter present.
