PEACEPLUS Pre-Market Engagement Event – From Multiculturalism to Interculturalism Project

Are you interested in becoming a supplier or part of a delivery consortium for our PEACEPLUS project?

Our Multiculturalism to Interculturalism project will be tendered through 4 Lots, aligned to the strands of the project. Bidders are able to bid for as many Lots as they wish.

We are hosting Pre-Market Engagement Events on Wednesday 25th September 2024 at Belfast City Council offices, Adelaide Street.

10:00am – 12:00pm – Lots 1 and 2

2:00pm – 4:00pm – Lots 3 and 4

Strand 1 (Lot 1):

Community Language and Cultural Access Programme – to highlight the indigenous linguistic heritage and new languages that are present within Belfast on a cross community basis through an Irish Language and Ulster Scots Heritage project and a New Languages Programme.

Strand 2 (Lot 2):

Cultural Spaces Programme to increase awareness of, community capacity within and cross community engagement in the different culturally significant spaces across Belfast through inter community connected neighbourhood and city-wide venues leadership, capacity building and activities programme.

Strand 3 (Lot 3):

Festivals and Flagship Events Programme to help flagship events become more accessible to all.  This will include capacity building programme, a Flagship events cultural connector programme and a marching in step to different tunes / musical fusion programme.

Strand 4 (Lot 4):

Culture and Built Heritage Programme – to develop and enhance public space availability, usage and capacity, including showcasing our historical built environment, walking tour including maritime heritage elements, events in vacant spaces across Belfast, and an intercultural burial traditions graveyard animation programme.

The sessions will provide an opportunity to learn more about:

  • The project requirements
  • Key deliverables and results
  • The procurement process
  • Indicative timeframes for the project

Suppliers will need to register by Friday 20th September 2024, by emailing peacepluslap@belfastcity.gov.uk Please outline which Lot you are interested in.

Only one person per organisation will be able to register as spaces are limited.

The PEACEPLUS Community Empowerment Programme forms parts of the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan, which is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
